So close...

My poker skills continue to improve, though not enough to get to the finals of the tournament last night. There were about 200 players, and the top 30 got to move on to the finals on Friday night. I was number 31.

I was fighting to get back from behind all night after an early bad beat. By the time the end rolled around, I had one chip left and was in the small blind, so I had no choice but to toss it in with a 6-7offsuit. The flop gave me a gutshot straight, but I missed on the turn and river, so out I went. SO CLOSE.

Bloody "topic proposals"...

So I finished my "topic proposal" for my Poli Sci honors thesis. I suppose it's all right, though apparently my language is really high-school-y. Man, I need to work on that.

Will it begin anew?

Will I start regularly blogging again? Likely not. But I was bored today.
